Amazon AWS: Some EC2 instances experienced connectivity issues, which have now been resolved and are operating normally

BlockBeats News, April 15th, Amazon AWS released an update stating that "between 12:40 and 1:43 a.m. Pacific Time, during which time, some EC2 instances in a single Availability Zone (apne1-az4) in the Asia Pacific Northeast Region (AP-NORTHEAST-1) experienced connectivity issues. The issue was caused by a simultaneous power supply interruption to both the primary and backup power, affecting the normal operation of the affected EC2 instances.

During this period, customers may have experienced higher error rates and latency on instances launched within the affected region, and some other AWS APIs that rely on these EC2 instances may also have been affected. Our engineers automatically intervened within minutes and immediately began investigation and implemented remediation measures. We do not believe this issue will occur again.

Currently, only a very small number of instances are still deployed on hardware affected by the power interruption. Efforts will continue to restore all affected instances and volumes, but for immediate recovery, it is recommended to replace these instances or volumes that have not yet been restored as much as possible. The issue has now been resolved, and the service has returned to normal operation.

Prior to this report, Binance's official announcement on Platform X stated that due to a temporary AWS data center network interruption, some services on the Binance platform experienced temporary issues. Currently, all services are gradually recovering and coming back online, and the withdrawal function has also been re-enabled.
