Computer chip shares are down in recent trading Wednesday after Nvidia (NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) warned about charges of up to $5.5 billion and $800 million, respectively, on new export restrictions to China.
Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices shares were both down more than 6% in recent trading, while Arm Holdings (ARM), Broadcom (AVGO), and Marvell Technology (MRVL) were down more than 3%.
Micron Technology (MU) shares were down almost 3%.
