JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is adding two managing directors to its global shareholder engagement and M&A capital markets team as activism defense demand rises, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a company memo.
Duncan Herrington is joining from Jasper Street Partners and Lyndon Park from ICR Shareholder Advisory, the media outlet reported.
Long-time JPMorgan banker Brian Frank will also be moving into the group, Reuters reported.
Based in New York, the trio will work with group co-heads Alfredo Porretti and Darren Novak and report to Head of North America M&A John Hofmann.
