GE Aerospace (GE) Chief Executive Larry Culp met with US President Donald Trump earlier this month to explain how a "tariff-free regime" has benefitted the aerospace supply chain and created a trade surplus for the domestic industry, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing an interview with the CEO.

GE did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
