GeoPark CEO Ocampo to Step Down; Felipe Bayon Named Successor

GeoPark tapped a new chief executive officer after Andres Ocampo decided to step down for personal reasons.

The energy company said Felipe Bayon will step into the top role and become a member of the board on June 1.

Bayon's experience includes a stint as CEO of energy company Ecopetrol from 2017 to 2023.

Ocampo has served as GeoPark's CEO for three years and was chief financial officer at the company for more than eight years.
