WR Berkley (WRB) late Monday reported Q1 operating income of $1.01 per diluted share compared with $1.04 a year ago.
Analysts polled by FactSet, on average, expected $0.98.
Total revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $3.55 billion, compared with $3.26 billion a year ago.
Analysts expected $3.53 billion.
Shares of the insurance and reinsurance company recently were unchanged in Monday's after-hours session.
