0444 GMT - Kuaishou's move to integrate AI into its local-services segment could help it mitigate competition and macro headwinds, UOB Kay Hian analysts say in a research note. Kuaishou launched the Kling 2.0 video generation model last week. UOB thinks the update will further reduce the cost and barriers of content creation and attract more creators to engage in Kuaishou's content ecosystem. Kuaishou expects Kling AI to contribute 440 million yuan to 450 million yuan in revenue this year, generated primarily through user subscriptions and business solutions, the analysts say. Meanwhile, the integration of AI into Kuaishou's local-services business could help merchants curate top-selling products and support the production of high-quality content, they add. Shares are last 3.6% lower at HK$49.95. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
