Weatherford International (WFRD) said late Monday it has signed a strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi-based AIQ to boost energy production efficiency by incorporating artificial intelligence technology.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The partnership is expected to combine Weatherford's software and hardware solutions with AIQ's AI systems to optimize production, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency in global oil and gas operations.
