Weatherford has appointed Anuj Dhruv as its next chief financial officer.
Dhruv replaces Arun Mitra, outgoing chief financial officer who had been with the company since 2023.
Dhruv, 43 years old, was most recently vice president of finance and strategy for the Global Olefins and Polyolefins segment at LyondellBasell. He also worked at Microsoft and Schlumberger, leading complex mergers and acquisitions, according to Weatherford's filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
"With fresh perspective and proven expertise, Anuj will enhance our leadership team and help position Weatherford to lead confidently through the next phase of our journey," said Weatherford Chief Executive Girish Saligram.
On Tuesday, the Houston-based oil and natural gas services company also reported $1.19 billion in revenue for the first quarter ended March 31, a 12% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Weatherford's stock is down 38% year to date.
