Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) will offer its own mobile phone plans in a bid to enter the mobile services market dominated by Telstra (ASX:TLS), Optus, and TPG Telecom (ASX:TPG), the Australian Financial Review reported Tuesday, citing Chief Strategy Officer Jonathan Prosser.

New plans will include both standalone and bundled packages, and customers choosing bundled packages will receive a AU$5 discount on the mobile component of their bill. The company currently resells Optus products.

The plans are expected to be released by the end of June, some of which will be launched through its cheaper Buddy Telco brand at "some incredibly aggressive" price points, according to the report.

The company is also considering resuming sales of mobile phones after halting them two years ago.

The mobile services company will be partnering with Optus to co-fund marketing initiatives in under-represented areas in the market, Prosser told the newspaper.
