Baidu (BIDU) launched a new artificial intelligence assistant dubbed Xinxiang on Android phones, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing the search engine company.
The company reportedly said Xinxiang supports running tasks and making travel plans and has an iOS version under review.
Baidu did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
Shares were 3% higher ahead of Wednesday's opening bell.
