Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) repurchased 25,245 shares in London on April 16 at a volume-weighted average price of around 10 pounds sterling apiece, an April 17 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The British lender plans to cancel the shares, following which it will have 2,374,962,400 shares in issue.
