Rocket Lab USA Selected by Kratos to Launch Hypersonic Test Flight

Rocket Lab USA (RKLB) said late Wednesday that Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) has selected the company to launch a full-scale hypersonic test flight for the US Department of Defense.

The mission will launch on Rocket Lab's HASTE rocket from a complex on Wallops Island, Virginia no earlier than Q1 2026, the company said.

Rocket Lab shares were down 1.1% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
