Ford Motor (F) has halted exports of its more expensive pickup trucks, sport-utility vehicles, and sports cars to China in response to 150% Chinese tariffs sparked by the Trump administration's trade war with Beijing, news outlets reported Friday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.

The company has stopped shipments this week of China-bound F-150 Raptors, Mustangs, Bronco SUVs, and Lincoln Navigators built in Michigan and Kentucky, sources told The Wall Street Journal.

The company shipped about 5,500 such models to China last year, according to the reports.

Ford did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment. The Journal and Reuters cited a spokesperson as acknowledging that the company has "adjusted exports" to China "in light of the current tariffs."
