HEICO (HEI) said Monday it named Eric A. Mendelson and Victor H. Mendelson as co-chief executive officers, effective May 1.

They succeed Laurans A. Mendelson, who will become the company's executive chairman of the board, Heico said.

Eric and Victor Mendelson have served as co-presidents of the aerospace industry replacement parts manufacturer since 2009, the company said.

The transition is part of a long-planned succession, the company said.
