Affiliated Managers Group (AMG) said Monday it has agreed to acquire a minority equity interest in multi-strategy investment firm Verition Fund Management.
Veriton's management will retain "substantial" majority of the firm's equity and continue to lead it. It will also make a "significant additional investment" in the firm's fund, Affiliated Managers said.
The terms of the deal, which is expected to close in Q2, were not disclosed.
