Alphabet's (GOOG) Google said Sunday the US Department of Justice's proposed remedies in an antitrust case it lost "go miles beyond the court's decision, and would hurt America's consumers, economy, and technological leadership."
The company said in a blog post that government solutions to remedies would make it harder for consumers to access Google, reduce revenue that could be used for innovation, force it to share sensitive information with competitors, slow AI advances, and damage businesses built on the coupling of Chrome and the Android operating systems.
The company said it will appeal verdict and challenge the remedies proposed by federal prosecutors.
