Mission Produce (AVO) shares were down more than 2% in premarket activity Friday after the company said Thursday it expects to launch a new packinghouse in Guatemala in August.
The facility, which was inaugurated Thursday, is expected to bridge supply gaps throughout the year and enhance the company's ability to meet the increasing global demand for avocados, Chief Executive Steve Barnard said in a statement.
