1120 ET - American Airlines' bet on corporate travel could be a risk factor as it flies toward increasing demand turbulence, Deutsche Bank analysts led by Michael Linenberg say. Business travel is declining as companies pull back on spending amid tariffs and economic uncertainty. American is currently working to regain more corporate travelers, and is looking to grow that segment faster than other airlines, Linenberg says. American is logging slower domestic demand that prompted it to pull full-year guidance. But demand trends could actually be worse going forward because the company is relying on one of the weakest markets, corporate, to grow revenue and gain market share, Linenberg says.
