China Telecom (HKG:0728, SHA:601728) saw a rise of nearly 15.5 million in 5G package subscribers in the first quarter, bringing its 5G user base to 266.2 million, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The telecom company's mobile subscribers increased by 5 million in the three months to 429.5 million.
The firm added 670,000 wireline broadband subscribers for the month, bringing the total to 198.1 million as of the end of the reporting quarter.
