Investors will have a lot to chew on as we enter the busiest week on the first-quarter earnings calendar, with roughly a third of S&P 500 index companies reporting results headlined by four of the Magnificent Seven. There will also be a bevy of important economic data releases to digest. Wall Street will also have to keep an eye out for tariff-related news as well as look ahead to the Federal Open Market Committee's monetary-policy meeting on May 6-7.
Domino's Pizza announces quarterly results on Monday, followed by Coca-Cola and Visa on Tuesday. Meta Platforms and Microsoft report on Wednesday, while Amazon.com, Apple, Eli Lilly, and Mastercard release their earnings on Thursday.
Two Big Oil names, Chevron and Exxon Mobil, close out the week on Friday.
On the macroeconomic front, the Bureau of Economic Analysis releases first-quarter gross domestic product growth on Wednesday, along with the personal consumption expenditures price index later that day. On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics will release its jobs report.

S&P CoreLogic releases its Case-Shiller National Home Price Index for February. Consensus estimate is for home prices to rise 4% year over year, about even with January's increase.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey. Expectations are for 7.5 million job openings on the last business day of March, slightly less than in February.
The Conference Board releases its Consumer Confidence Index for April. The consensus call is for a 87.3 reading, more than five points less than March's 92.9, which was the lowest reading since January 2021.

ADP releases its National Employment Report for April. Economists forecast a 125,000 increase in private-sector employment, after a 155,000 gain in March.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis releases its advance estimate of first-quarter gross domestic product growth. Consensus estimate is for GDP to have grown at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.4%, two percentage points less than in the fourth quarter.
The Institute for Supply Management releases the Chicago Business Barometer for April. Expectations are for a 46 reading, nearly two points less than in March.
The National Association of Realtors releases its Pending Home Sales Index for March. Pending home sales are seen rising 1% month over month, down from a 2% increase in February.
The BEA releases the personal consumption expenditures price index for March. The consensus call is for a 2.2% year-over-year increase, three-tenths of a percentage point less than in February. The core PCE price index, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, is seen rising 2.6%, compared to 2.8% previously. If the core PCE, the Federal Reserve's favored inflation gauge, comes in as expected, it will be the lowest annual reading since March 2021.

The ISM releases its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for April. Consensus estimate is for a 48 reading, one point less than in March. After starting the year with consecutive readings above the expansionary level of 50, the Manufacturing PMI has dipped below 50 again.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the jobs report for April. Economists forecast a 133,000 gain in nonfarm payrolls, after a 228,000 increase in February. The unemployment rate is expected to remain unchanged at 4.2%.
