Amcor (AMCR) and Berry (BERY) said Friday they have obtained unconditional approval from the European Commission for their planned merger, satisfying the final regulatory clearance needed.
The companies said the EU clearance will enable them to complete the remaining steps toward closing.
The deal is expected to close on April 30, the companies said.
