Baidu (BIDU) said Friday on social media platform X that it has launched its latest Ernie artificial intelligence models, including the Ernie 4.5 Turbo foundation model and the Ernie X1 Turbo reasoning model.
Pricing for X1 Turbo starts at $0.14 per 1 million tokens for input and $0.55 per 1 million tokens for output, which is about 25% of the cost of DeepSeek R1, Baidu said.
Baidu also reportedly said it had built a cluster of 30,000 third-generation P800 Kunlun chips to support future AI training, multiple media outlets reported Friday.
