JB Hunt运输服务公司(JBHT)今日盘前大跌10.2%,引发市场广泛关注。
公司此前公布的2024年第四季度财报显示,营收虽然达到31.5亿美元符合分析师预期,但每股收益仅为1.53美元,低于分析师平均预期1.63美元,利润未能达标成为导致股价重挫的主要原因。
具体来看,JB Hunt2024年第四季度利润不及预期主要有以下两大原因:一方面随着旺季需求增加,公司与网络调配、司机招聘等的支出显著增加;另一方面在专用合同服务部门,由于部分客户缩减车队规模,该部门卡车数量减少605辆,收入出现下滑。
除了公司自身利润未达预期外,整个美国卡车运输行业2024年持续低迷也给JB Hunt带来压力。数据显示,由于运价持续下跌、运力过剩以及货运需求疲软等因素,从2022年以来美国卡车运输行业就一直处于下滑通道。不过分析预计,到2025年下半年行业有望随着价格大幅上涨而企稳回升。
