2月19日，Meta Platforms宣布，将于4月29日盛大举办一场名为LlamaCon的全新开发者大会，此举标志着该公司在人工智能领域的又一重要布局。
据这家社交媒体巨头透露，其Llama模型在2024年取得了显著成就，下载量已突破6.5亿次大关。更令人瞩目的是，截至去年年底，Meta AI的日均用户数也攀升至约6亿，这一人气飙升的趋势直接促使由马克·扎克伯格领导的Meta决定创办LlamaCon这一盛会。
Meta方面表示：“鉴于我们的开源Llama模型及工具集合正以前所未有的速度增长并展现出强劲的发展势头，我们欣然宣布LlamaCon——2025年开发者大会将于4月29日隆重举行。”
在此次大会上，Meta计划隆重推出其最新的开源人工智能工具，旨在为开发人员提供强有力的支持，助力他们构建出更多创新的应用程序和其他前沿产品。
此外，Meta还同时宣布了今年Meta Connect的举办日期，即9月17日至18日。公司方面透露：“与以往历届大会一样，我们将在Meta Connect上分享最新、最前沿的Meta Horizon更新，揭开未来技术的神秘面纱，并为XR开发人员提供他们亟需的工具，以期共同推动下一个计算平台的蓬勃发展。”
值得一提的是，去年Meta已成功推出了其Meta Quest 3S虚拟现实耳机，这一创新产品进一步巩固了其在虚拟现实领域的领先地位。
