据英国金融时报，英国亿万富翁Peter Hargreaves支持的投资基金“蓝鲸增长”(Blue Whale Growth)出售了其在Meta Platforms的全部股份，原因是担心特朗普征收关税后全球经济放缓。管理着11亿英镑资产的蓝鲸增长基金持有的最大资产是科技股，占其投资组合的近40%。Meta的持股比例约为3%。
该基金经理Stephen Yiu表示，就在特朗普于4月2日“解放日”宣布对美国进口商品征收全面关税的几天后，他决定“退出”Meta。Yiu表示，关税后全球经济放缓的风险“意味着Meta在数字广告方面的整个业务”可能受到打击。
Yiu补充说，由于担心微软在人工智能上投入了大量资金，支出可能很快就会超过其现金收入，该基金也完全抛售了微软的股票。但Yiu表示，过去几周，他一直在买入英伟达的股票，以利用股价走弱的机会，将该股在整个基金中的比重从去年年底的7%提高到10%。
