ANTA Sports' stock surged as much as 6.05% in Thursday's intraday trading session on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The surge came after the Chinese sportswear giant reported strong retail sales growth for the fourth quarter.
According to the company's announcement, the retail sales value of ANTA's core ANTA and FILA brands recorded high-single digit growth in Q4. Meanwhile, the company's other brands saw an impressive 50-55% year-over-year growth in retail sales value during the same period.
The robust Q4 performance reinforced ANTA's outlook for the full year 2024, with the company forecasting high-single digit growth for ANTA brand retail sales and mid-single digit growth for FILA brand. Other brands are expected to grow by 40-45% for the year.
