Bankus brings nearly two decades of experience in international luxury fashion, previously serving as Chief Merchandising Officer at Stella McCartney and Global Merchandising Director at Burberry. Her appointment is expected to strengthen Canada Goose's focus on expanding its product offerings through a lens of sustainability and innovation.
Carrie Baker, President of Brand & Commercial at Canada Goose, expressed confidence in Bankus' ability to shape the brand's product roadmap and drive long-term growth, citing her "skillful balance of the art and science behind merchandising success, a strong entrepreneurial drive, and wealth of luxury experience."
