HK Gold Stocks Jump As Gold Hits $3,010 to Scale Record Peak

Gold prices scaled a record peak above the key $3,000 mark on Tuesday for the second time within a week, as investors sought cover from economic concerns fuelled by U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff polices.

Spot gold prices hit a record high of $3,010 per ounce.

Gold stocks jumped in Hong Kong. Wanguo Gold rose 8%; Chifeng Gold, SD GOLD, Zhaojin Mining, and Zijin Mining rose 6%; Lingbao Gold rose 5%; CHINAGOLDINTL rose 3%.
