美国著名网上拍卖平台eBay(EBAY)周三发布业绩指引,预期2025年第一季度营收为25.2亿至25.6亿美元,低于分析师预期的25.9亿美元。得知这一利空消息后,eBay盘后股价大跌8.45%。
eBay业绩指引不甚理想的主要原因与当前的外部经济环境有关。近期持续的通胀高企及利率上升抑制了消费者的可支配收入和消费意欲,对奢侈品、收藏品等非必需品的需求出现了明显下滑。此外,美国新一轮征收关税政策以及欧洲、德国等发达经济体需求疲软也在一定程度上影响了eBay的销售表现。
与此同时,由于eBay取消了消费者向卖家收取的部分交易费,以吸引更多卖家入驻,预计一季度利润率也将面临压力。而在竞争层面,亚马逊、阿里巴巴集团等电商巨头的持续竞争和广告收入的持续下降也给eBay带来了一定的冲击。
