不过,专家认为市场对新AI技术影响的估算或有些过于悲观。休斯顿大学能源经济学家Ed Hirs表示,即便新型AI模型更加节能,但AI技术的广泛应用本身反而将推动整体电力需求增长。在这一因素的影响下,CEG等电力公司股价出现明显反弹。
