港股半导体设备制造商ASMPT(00522)今日股价大幅下跌近8%,引发市场关注。公司发布公告称,已与潜在要约人停止就可能私有化进行商讨。有关可能私有化的要约期亦随之结束。
ASMPT是全球主要的半导体制程设备方案供应商。去年10月底,公司曾公布接获一名独立第三方提出可能私有化收购要约,但经过数月商讨后双方未能达成一致,最终决定终止私有化计划。
分析人士指出,私有化有望令ASMPT在缩减成本和管理集中的同时,获得长线投资者支持,被视为利好。但现在私有化计划告吹,或令市场对公司前景产生疑虑,加上缺乏新的利好消息支撑,使得股价受到重挫。不过目前仍未能完全确定公司股价大跌的具体原因。
