该公司在第一季度业绩声明中表示，关税将对全年收益产生高达每股40美分的负面影响。不过，3M维持了2025年调整后每股盈利7.6美元至7.90美元的预期。预计今年全年有机销售额仍将增长2%至3%。
3M被认为是经济风向标，因为其拥有数以千计的消费和工业产品组合，使其能够广泛接触到经济的各个领域。
在业绩公布后，3M盘前一度下挫2%，之后逆转跌势，现涨超4%。
