消息面上，富国银行已向美联储提交了一份关于其风险和控制改革的第三方评估报告，希望取消监管机构施加的资产上限。
该银行目前在1.95万亿美元的资产上限下运营，在监管机构认为它已经解决了可追溯到2016年发现的虚假账户丑闻的问题之前，该行无法扩大这一规模。
