美国折扣零售巨头美元树公司宣布，已与私募股权投资机构Brigade Capital Management和Macellum Capital Management达成协议，将以10.07亿美元的价格出售旗下Family Dollar业务。
据了解，Family Dollar是美国知名连锁杂货零售商，在全美拥有超过8000家门店。2015年，美元树在与竞争对手美国达乐公司(DG.US)的竞购战中胜出，以约90亿美元高价收购了该业务。
此次交易标志着美元树完成了对该业务板块的战略评估工作。早在去年6月，美元树就宣布正在为Family Dollar业务探索战略选择方案。今年2月，有报道称包括Brigade Capital在内的多家私募机构对收购表现出浓厚兴趣。
美元树首席执行官Mike Creedon表示：“这是公司转型历程中的重要里程碑，将助力我们充分释放发展潜力。未来我们将继续推动美元树业务的增长与优化，通过扩大商品品类、在全美范围内大规模开设新店，以及实施符合发展战略的并购交易等关键举措，为员工、客户和股东创造更大价值。”
据估算，该交易将为美元树带来约8.04亿美元的净收益。此外，公司预计因出售亏损产生的税收优惠将带来约3.5亿美元的经济效益。
交易预计将在90天内完成，出售后的Family Dollar业务总部仍将保留在弗吉尼亚州切萨皮克市。
