韩国电商巨头Coupang(CPNG.US)周二盘中股价大跌10.75%,引发市场广泛关注。这家被视为"韩国亚马逊"的电商平台公司在前一交易日公布的2024年第三季度财报中,虽然总营收和利润指标表现强劲,但其核心零售端净销售额却低于市场预期,令投资者对公司核心业务前景感到担忧。

不过,Coupang去年以约35亿美元的巨资收购的奢侈品电商平台Farfetch业务目前仍处于亏损状态,这也是拖累公司第三季度净利润同比大跌约30%至6400万美元的主要原因。针对这一问题,Coupang表示力争在2024年底前推动Farfetch实现盈利或盈亏平衡。此外,还有分析人士指出,中国电商巨头阿里巴巴和拼多多的子品牌在韩国市场的加剧竞争,可能也影响了Coupang的国内市场份额。
