本周一（3月10日），比特币再度失守8万大关，概念股大跌， Strategy 跌超13%， MARA Holdings 跌12%， Coinbase Global, Inc. 跌超10%：
本周五，白宫加密货币负责人表示，特朗普签署行政命令以建立战略性比特币储备。
据悉，该储备将由联邦政府所拥有的比特币来注资，这些比特币是在刑事或民事资产没收程序中被没收而来的。
但值得注意的是，除了通过资产没收程序所获取的资产之外，政府不会为该储备再额外购置其他资产。政府不会出售任何存入储备的比特币。财政部长和商务部长被授权制定保持预算中立的策略，以获取更多比特币。
有分析认为这些细节表明，此项命令更像是对加密货币的“存储”而不是“储备”。“储备”意味着政府会购买加密货币，而“存储”则意味着仅仅持有通过刑事或民事资产没收程序获得的加密货币。
