旅行者财产险集团(TRV)股价在10月17日盘中大涨6.97%,引发市场广泛关注。公司刚公布的第三季度财报显示,净利润大增近三倍至12.2亿美元,每股收益5.24美元,远超华尔街预期。
公司此轮利润大增主要得益于两个方面:一是承保收益大幅增长。数据显示,随着个人和企业对保险产品需求增加、部分产品加价,旅行者公司第三季度承保收益从去年同期的1.36亿美元亏损大幅扭亏为盈,达到6.85亿美元。
