ASX Lower After Wall Street Hit by Sell-off

Australian shares dropped at the open after a sell-off on Wall Street resumed, paced by the magnificent seven technology stocks.

The S&P/ASX 200 dropped 0.4 per cent, or by 28.6 points, to 7831.8, snapping a three-day winning streak. The All Ordinaries fell 0.4 per cent. Eight of the sharemarket’s 11 sectors were lower, led by banks.
