On Thursday, Accenture Plc (NYSE:ACN) reported second-quarter 2025 earnings of $2.82 per share, slightly above the consensus of $2.81.
The company reported sales of $16.66 billion, almost in line with the consensus of $16.62 billion and management guidance of $16.2 billion–$16.8 billion.
Sales increased 5% year over year in U.S. dollars and 8.5% in local currency.
Consulting revenues were $8.28 billion, an increase of 3% in U.S. dollars and 6% in local currency. Managed Services revenues reached $8.38 billion, an increase of 5% in U.S. dollars and 8.5% in local currency.

Products revenues reached $5.05 billion, up 6% in U.S. dollars and 9% in local currency. Health & Public Service revenues increased by 8% in U.S. dollars and 10% in local currency to $3.61 billion.
Financial Services revenue reached $3.01 billion, up 7% in U.S. dollars and 11% in local currency. Resources revenue was $2.26 billion, up 1% in U.S. dollars and 5% in local currency.
Communications, Media & Technology revenue was $2.73 billion, up 3% in U.S. dollars and 6% in local currency.
New bookings for the second quarter of fiscal 2025 were $20.91 billion, a decrease of 3% in U.S. dollars and flat in local currency compared to the second quarter of fiscal 2024, including:
Generative AI new bookings reached $1.4 billion in the second quarter.
The company says strong Q2 FY25 results reflect broad-based revenue growth across geographic markets, industry groups, and types of work.
“The trust and confidence in our unique strengths and capabilities is reflected in 32 clients with quarterly bookings greater than $100 million and we are very pleased to have another milestone quarter in Gen AI with $1.4 billion in new bookings,” commented Accenture chair and CEO Julie Sweet.
The operating margin increased by 50 basis points to 13.5% and decreased by 20 basis points compared to the adjusted operating margin.
Guidance: Accenture narrowed its fiscal year 2025 revenue growth outlook to 5%-7% in local currency, compared to prior guidance of 4%-7%. The company forecasts 2025 diluted earnings of $12.55-$12.79 per share compared to the consensus of $12.90.
Price Action: At the last check Thursday, ACN stock was down 0.14% at $324 during the premarket session.
