马斯克旗下xAI将建立大型数据设施，戴尔获得大量订单
戴尔科技已在马斯克位于孟菲斯的超级计算机项目中部署了数万个GPU来支持人工智能工作。
首席运营官Jeff Clarke周四在接受采访时表示： “我们从零开始，在短短几个月内就大规模部署了数万个 GPU。该集群仍在继续建设中，我们正在脱颖而出。”
马斯克的初创公司xAI正在开发一个大型设施，以提高其在打造人工智能工具方面的计算能力。xAI计划将其位于孟菲斯的超级计算机扩展到至少100万个图形处理单元，较目前的10万个扩大十倍。
科技巨头戴尔今年的业务蓬勃发展，这要归功于对搭载英伟达 GPU(运行人工智能工作负载所需的芯片)的高性能服务器的需求。截至 11 月 1 日的季度，戴尔的 AI 服务器出货量达到 29 亿美元。
大孟菲斯商会表示，作为扩展计划的一部分，为xAI提供GPU的英伟达、为该计算机组装服务器机架的戴尔和超微也将在孟菲斯建立业务。
