美国疾病控制与预防中心(CDC)表示,与麦当劳"四分之一磅汉堡包"(Quarter Pounder)相关的大肠杆菌疫情在美国多个州爆发,共导致49人感染大肠杆菌,其中1人死亡,10人住院治疗,包括1名儿童。所有感染者均表示在发病前曾在麦当劳用餐并食用了这款汉堡包。
CDC正在调查病因,初步怀疑洋葱丝或牛肉饼这两种汉堡配料存在大肠杆菌污染。美国食品药物管理局的初步分析则认为洋葱丝可能是污染源。
麦当劳已经采取迅速行动,在受影响地区停售这款"四分之一磅汉堡包",并要求所有当地餐厅从供应链中移除涉事洋葱丝。根据麦当劫初步调查,部分感染病例可能与该款汉堡中使用的洋葱丝有关,这些洋葱丝由一家供应商提供,服务于三个配送中心。麦当劫表示正在与供应商合作,预计将在未来几周内恢复供应。
麦当励中国方面回应称,受影响的产品和食材完全不涉及中国市场,中国顾客可继续安心食用麦当劳产品。
