财报显示,该季度公司调整后每股收益为59美分,低于分析师预期的60美分。不过最大拖累来自于其子公司西部资产管理部门。西部资产管理因某些与国债衍生品相关的交易分配遭到美国证券交易委员会的调查,该部门负责人也已休假。公司为该部门计提了3.892亿美元的减值费用,导致该季度公司整体出现亏损8470万美元。
尽管公司季度营收和投资管理费收入有所增长,但财报整体表现差强人意,加上西部资产管理遭遇不利因素,令投资者信心受挫,因此股价应声大跌。
