美国铝业公司(AA)股价10月16日盘后大涨5.47%,主因公司与西班牙可再生能源公司Ignis就为其位于西班牙San Ciprian铝厂融资达成合作推进有利进展。
根据双方拟议协议,美国铝业将出资7500万欧元,Ignis初期投资2500万欧元,从而获得San Ciprian铝厂25%所有权。同时美铝还将根据需求再投资1亿欧元,并优先获得未来现金回报。但该协议还需获得西班牙政府等利益相关方批准。
此前多年,美国铝业一直抱怨西班牙高昂能源价格令旗下工厂缺乏竞争力。此次与可再生能源公司合作融资有望缓解这一困境,令市场对其在西班牙业务的前景重拾信心,因此推动股价大涨。
