In a regulatory filing, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) disclosed that the company entered into a transaction agreement with Amazon.com (AMZN), under which, among other things, the company issued to Amazon a warrant to purchase up to an aggregate of 7,945,399 shares of common stock. AAOI shares jumped 54.4% in overnight trading.

Recycled metal products maker Radius Recycling said on Thursday it had entered into a definitive merger agreement with Toyota Tsusho America, a U.S. subsidiary of Japanese trading house Toyota Tsusho Corp. Radius Recycling shares soared 108.6% in overnight trading.

Rubrik shares jumped 16.7% in overnight trading after the data security software provider impressed investors with revenue and earnings beats in its fiscal 2025 fourth quarter and forecast a stronger-than-expected revenue outlook for the year ahead.

Docusign shares jumped 11.3% in overnight trading after the electronic signature company reported earnings and revenue beats in its fiscal 2025 fourth quarter.

Ulta Beauty’s fourth-quarter earnings barreled past analyst estimates, sending the cosmetics retailer higher 5.6% in overnight trading.

PagerDuty stock was headed higher 5.7% in overnight trading after the application observability firm reported fourth-quarter earnings results that surpassed analysts’ expectations.

Semtech reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results as increased demand for AI and machine learning applications fueled data center sales and stronger margins. The shares gained 10% in overnight trading.

Chip stocks rebounded slightly in overnight trading after a sharp decline. Lam Research and Broadcom rose about 2%; Micron, Qualcomm, Marvell Technology, Nvidia, and Super Micro Computer rose more than 1%.

Quantum computing stocks rose again in overnight trading. Arqit Quantum rose 5%; Quantum Computing rose 4%; Quantum Corporation, MicroCloud Hologram, and D-Wave Quantum rose 3%; IONQ, SEALSQ, and Rigetti Computing rose 2%; Amazon rose 1%.
