康尼格拉(CAG)2024财年第一季度业绩公布后,公司股价盘前一度暴跌逾5%。数据显示,康尼格拉一季度净销售额环比下降3.8%至27.9亿美元,远低于华尔街分析师预期的28.4亿美元。低于预期的业绩,主要源于通胀高企导致消费者转向选购低价替代品。

随着美国通胀高位持续,不少消费者为应对生活成本上涨,在购买食品和即食餐时,越来越优先选择价格较低的自有品牌商品,而放弃了价格较高的知名食品公司产品。康尼格拉的主打产品恰恰包括主食、零食和冷冻食品,一季度这些品类需求均遭遇较大幅度下滑,其有机食品销量同比下降1.6%。

面对原材料、运输等生产成本上涨,康尼格拉一季度毛利率降至26.5%,较去年同期下滑189个基点。由于低于预期的收入和利润率压力,公司一季度每股收益只有53美分,也低于分析师预期的60美分。除了消费需求走弱外,康尼格拉一项热狗业务受到临时产能中断影响,导致一季度营收少了2700万美元。总的来看,业绩下滑令市场对康尼格拉后期增长信心不足,从而引发股价大跌。
