Tesla Motors fell 3% in overnight trading. Li Auto, NIO Inc. rose 2%.
Tesla will begin production of the refreshed Model Y, codenamed Juniper, in January, domestic media reported today. In addition to the facelifted 5-seater SUV, Giga Shanghai will deliver a three-row 6-seater Model Y in the fourth quarter of 2025.
FedEx rose 8% in overnight trading. The company said Thursday evening that it would separate its freight business, leaving two publicly traded companies—as investors had hoped.
Quantum Computing stocks fell in overnight trading. D-Wave Systems Inc. fell 16%, Rigetti Computing fell 15%, Quantum Computing Inc. fell 13%, QUANTUM CORP fell 11%, IONQ Inc. fell 3%.
AI shares mixed in overnight trading. BigBear.ai Holdings up 5%, SoundHound AI Inc down 4%.
