消息称,近期在杭州街头出现了"叮咚买菜无人车"在路上行驶,正在进行无人车最后一公里配送的内测。叮咚买菜向媒体证实,这确实是其在前置仓场景下的无人车配送测试。
业内普遍认为,无人车配送有望为即时零售带来多重好处:一是扩大前置仓服务半径,提高配送效率;二是增加单次配送量,缓解高峰期运力紧缺;三是为非即时需求的计划性商品采购提供保障;四是通过集单增加团购配送效率。
与快递行业无人车主要应用于中转场景不同,无人车在前置仓的作用还在于暂存功能,为大批量商品采购提供支持,有助于丰富前置仓商品结构。不过,无人车在小区楼宇的最后100米送货仍面临挑战,可能需要与快递驿站等基础设施对接,以进一步降低成本。
