但很快，中金公司和中国银河双双发布公告对此予以否认。中金公司表示，未得到任何来自政府部门、监管机构或股东有关合并传闻的书面或口头信息，控股股东中央汇金也不存在筹划此事。中国银河回应说，未获实际控制人有关合并的任何口头或书面信息,也不存在应披露而未披露的重大事项。
业内人士指出,近期"汇金系"券商扩容引发行业资源整合预期升温。针对同属汇金系的中金公司和中国银河,市场传闻合并可能性较高。但目前看来,合并传闻背后缺乏实质支撑,中金公司和中国银河股价大涨大跌,充分反映了市场对券商并购重组情绪的高度敏感。
