BTC Price Regains Hold Above $97K

At the time of reporting, BTC price chart indicated a 1.95% pump in value, reaching $97,164. The flagship crypto hit a low and high of $95,019.07 and $97,364.05 intraday. Notably, the coin soars alongside a new Bitcoin reserve bill unveiled by Montana’s House Business and Labor Committee.

The US under President Donald Trump has moved on from a crypto regulatory regime marked by “a bit of oppression”, according to Richard Teng, chief executive officer of Binance Holdings Ltd.

Digital asset executives have loudly complained that regulators under previous President Joe Biden sought to engage in “regulation by enforcement”, their description for a spate of high-profile lawsuits against and hefty fines levied on companies including Binance, Coinbase Inc. and Ripple LLC.

Strategy said to offer lower conversion premium for $2B debt offering

Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) is offering investors better terms for its $2B issue of convertible debt, lowering the conversion premium to 35% from the previously marked 40%-50% range, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The conversion premium is the percentage by which the conversion price of the bond exceeds the current market price of the company's stock.

Canaan reports month-on-month increase in Bitcoin production in January

Canaan (NASDAQ:CAN) reported an increase in the Bitcoin (BTC-USD) mined in January, as compared to the prior month.

The firm said it had mined 88 BTC in January, as compared to 62 in December.

Bitcoin Spot ETF Flow

On Feb 19 (Eastern Time), the total net outflow for Bitcoin spot ETFs was $71.07 million, according to SoSoValue data.

The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net outflow on Feb 19 was Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund , with a net outflow of $48.39 million. Following that was Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund , with a net outflow of $9.27 million.

As of now, the total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $112.59 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 5.9%.
